Taste of Sanford

image001

In 2016, the best Sanford area chefs and restaurants were featured under one roof for…”A Taste Of Sanford”!

By popular demand it will be included in the 2017 Sanford Arts and Vine Festival events.  Like last year, the area’s most renowned potters, artists, jewelers, fine crafters, and wine/ beer gets the spotlight all day, but once evening arrives, and the artists close their booths for the day, it’s time for the culinary arts to shine!

Wining will become dining when the Wine Tent closes and reopens at 6 pm to feature the chefs and their signature restaurant dishes. Tables will be set up and the chefs will begin serving at 6:30 pm.   Beverages, including wine and beer by the glass will be available for purchase throughout the evening to complement the prepared dishes.

And just to whet your appetite a bit more, ticket sales from “A Taste of Sanford” will benefit the a local non-profit supporting the arts.  This year’s recipient is the Temple Theatre’s Academy. The Temple Academy has been developed in conjunction with the Temple Theatre’s mission to entertain, educate and enrich the audiences of central North Carolina through the art of live theatre. They offer the finest theatrical training for students of all ages. Classes in the Temple Academy are process-based experiences designed to inspire creativity, discipline, confidence, imagination, and a sense of community through the exploration and practice of theatre, dance, and music.  Tickets available soon.
